Other players do the same, every fight becomes a puzzle of movement, timing, synergy, and execution rather than button-mashing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are <strong>eleven fully-designed classes<\/strong>, each with complete trait lines, weapon sets, and role identities. Classes can be played alone or combined through a Primary\/Secondary system, allowing deep buildcraft like GW1, but with new systems layered over the top, expanding what a CORPG can do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You don\u2019t choose a lone Character.You choose a pair, and combat is built around that foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Eleven Class Archetypes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Warrior<\/strong>: Frontline pressure fighter. Fury-based aggression, weapon mastery in sword\/axe\/hammer, combat styles and battleroars, high endurance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ranger<\/strong>: Ranged hunter with bow mastery, traps, stances, pets, nature-driven disruption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Elementalist<\/strong>: High damage spellcaster. AoE pressure, battlefield control, defensive fields across four elements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Illusionist<\/strong>: Interrupt\/control specialist. Phantasms, mirages, jinxes, charm-style boons, clone summons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Cleric<\/strong>: Primary healer. Strong direct heals, protection, cleansing, holy-damage hybrid builds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Alchemist<\/strong>: Construct engineer. Deployable arc pylons, catalysts, volatile bursts, bio-infusion healing and utility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Animaeon<\/strong>: Summoner and field controller. Constructs summoned from Singularity Events, event-driven energy, lawful binding effects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rogue<\/strong>: Precision assassin. Critical-focused chain attacks, stealth, poison, burst execution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Exemplar<\/strong>: Heavy-armored battlefield leader. Spear and shield, battleroars, cadences, party-wide boons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Champion<\/strong>: Virtue-transformation fighter. Polearms, sweeping AoE, timed form bursts for pressure and sustain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Soldier<\/strong>: The most versatile class in the game. Heavy armor, six weapon doctrines, improvised tools, suppression, battlefield discipline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Primary + Secondary Class System<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You choose one primary class and one secondary. Primary determines your <strong>core trait scaling and mechanics<\/strong>. Secondary grants you access to <strong>weapons + skill lines<\/strong> from another discipline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Examples:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Cleric\/Soldier = healer with melee weapon options. Traditional fantasy Mace and Shield wielding healer<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Warrior\/Rogue = bruiser with assassination burst windows<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Exemplar\/Soldier = commander-tank hybrid with combat presence auras<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Ranger\/Elementalist = trap + AoE battlefield lockdown<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Every combination is functional, not just flavourful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Player Pair \u2014 Combat Between Two Souls<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You fight as two, but you control one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your Player Character is the active unit.Your Bound Hero runs under AI logic using the skillbar you built for them. Both characters have full 8-skill bars, gear, weapons and traits, the difference is only in control, not depth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 You build both loadouts<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 You control only your own character in real-time<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 The Bound Hero acts autonomously using your chosen skills and AI profile<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Party is flexible, but some Tidebound systems require both present<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This isn\u2019t two protagonists under one keyboard.It\u2019s one fighter with a second build at their flank \u2014 a pair designed in creation, expressed in combat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Glamourbond \u2014 Paired Skills Unique to Tidebound<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Tidebound pairs unlock combat interactions no other faction can use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These aren\u2019t romance mechanics, they\u2019re <strong>skill-linked actions<\/strong> between two independently built characters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Glamourbond skills come in three forms:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Resonance<\/strong> \u2014 you use the skill, your Bondmate gains a brief window to follow with the paired response.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dualcast<\/strong> \u2014 one skill split in two halves, activated one half and the paired response fires from the Bondmate\u2019s bar automatically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Finisher<\/strong> \u2014 unlocked after Ascension, replacing Dualcast temporarily with a combined final effect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The player builds both bars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The AI executes its half of the chain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One trigger. Two effects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No other party in the game can do it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">AI, Party &amp; Role Design<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A full party can include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 You<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Your Bound Hero<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Story-unlocked Heroes<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Tidebound Hero Pairs<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Academy Heroes<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Hidden Heroes<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Henchmen<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Other players (online co-op)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maximum combat party size = 8.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Missions, Environs, and high-tier content rely on synergy, not stats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Positioning, counters, support timing, and buildcraft decide outcomes, not grinding.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Combat in Bound Wars is tactical, party-based, and skill-driven.
