No one knew where they came from. No one knew why they lived. But when they held each other, something beautiful, and frightening, became clear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They were bound.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not by blood or oath or law, but by something deeper. A bond that would later be called the <strong>Glamourbond<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They were raised, trained, and guarded by the Academy. They are grown now,  and the storm that birthed them is rising again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They are the Tidebound.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Three Bond Types<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Every Tidebound bond falls into one of three forms \u2014 but only one of these can ever occur between two Tidebound.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Twin Bond<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Rare, innate, born not chosen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No ceremony, no discovery \u2014 they arrive already complete.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The deepest, earliest bond known.<br>Only one twin pair exists among The Six, but other Tidebound twin pairs exist throughout the world.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Lover Bond<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Soul-recognition that matures into romance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Not physical or hormonal \u2014 foundational and lifelong.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A Tidebound may only form a Lover bond <strong>with a non-Tidebound partner,<\/strong> except in one case.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Companion Bond<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Not romantic \u2014 a life-pairing built on reliance, trust, and balance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deep loyalty, shared purpose, steady devotion.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Like Lover bonds, these too normally form <strong>only between a Tidebound and a non-Tidebound partner<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Where The Six Break the Pattern<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among the entire Tidebound generation, only three exceptions exist:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>One pair of Tidebound twins<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One pair who bonded as Companions on the beach<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One pair who later grew into a Lover bond<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These three pairs are collectively known as <strong>The Six<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No Tidebound outside The Six has ever bonded to another Tidebound.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Every other Lover or Companion bond forms with an outsider, a soldier, a scholar, a villager, a farmer, a stranger yet unseen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many Tidebound still wait for theirs. For them, the story hasn\u2019t happened yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Six<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Six are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>One set of twins.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One set of companions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One set of lovers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Among The Six are the only Tidebound pairs where <strong>both partners <\/strong>(excluding Twins) <strong>are Tidebound<\/strong>. That alone sets them apart, but not above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Where most Tidebound protect Tidebound first, The Six look outward. They treat all people as kin. They are the bridge between Tidebound and the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Two of The Six are always you, the player pair. The other two pairs remain in the world as they would have been had you chosen differently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They do not lead by authority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They lead by example.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And all Tidebound revere them not from hierarchy, but from heart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bound Hero \u2014 You Are Two, Not One<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In Bound Wars, character creation does not stop with you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After forging your character, you forge your Bondmate, your Bound Hero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You choose:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sex<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Class<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Traits, appearance &amp; personality<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>And most importantly, bond type: Twin, Lover, Companion<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You control your character directly. You build the skillbar for both. Your Bound Hero fights beside you under AI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They are not a follower, they are the second half of you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some content cannot be entered without both present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The story is written for a pair, always.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Heroes \u2014 Many Paths to Stand Beside You<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Every hero in Bound Wars has a story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some are core to the main plot. Some live in the world, waiting for you to cross their path.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some unlock only after you witness, or influence, a moment in their life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Others are found in ruins, storms, mountains, cities, or through kindness no mechanic can track.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are four kinds of hero-like party members:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Story Heroes<\/strong> \u2014 Central characters in the Binding War narrative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tidebound Heroes<\/strong> \u2014 Other bonded children grown to adulthood, walking alongside you in mission and fate.
